vintage treasures pop-up market

a couple of weeks ago the highlight of one incredibly stressed, crappy work day was the arrival of an email inviting me to hold a stall at the Vintage Treasure pop-up market in Prahran. now, i am a market virgin, as i've only been wheeling and dealing on etsy for just over 4 months, but thought it would be a great opportunity to get my name out and meet some people locally.

i'll have a lot of vintage and industrial decor items, and am also getting hard to work this week painting a load of vintage frames to put some vintage map prints in - black gloss paint, here i come....

the market is a series of pop up markets held in melbourne leading up to christmas, and are hosted by the guys at http://www.popupmarkets.com.au/. their philosophy is about supporting home-grown talent, engaging communities, and bringing empty spaces to life - what a brilliant idea.

so this saturday i'll be at 118 high street, prahran from 10-3 with my dear husband to help carry all my heavy trinkets - come and say hi!

i now have a banner thanks to the handiwork of my dear mother - very similar to the 'love is sweet' dessert banner flags she made for our wedding

handcut business cards, one by one on a sunday night, now ready to go
