vintage wooden crates

if you're wondering what you can use vintage wooden crates around the house for, look no further - below are some ideas based on what i use them for. best thing is, they are not from ikea, they have character, they have history, they're recycled, they're not made from plastics full of chemicals, and they look brilliant!

decor when you have too many crates in the house!

here are some crates i have in the shop, i also have some i haven't listed yet - one is a great aluminium lined wooden  box that someone probably used to put their beers in ;) i did take advantage of the first 'hot' day of spring today (it's still 20 degrees outside and it's 8 pm!) to clean out the post office and sort all my stock. just makes me realise how much i still have to clean, photograph and list...and off to another interesting auction tomorrow in woodend, i'll try and contain myself!
