pear blossoms and vintage bottles

well, it was a great weekend as predicted. vintage goodness from epoch have been flying out the door this last week - more sales than ever before, which is brilliant. it's been a big week of vintage bottles, with two different lovely ladies buying up lots of bottle collections for weddings - one planning her own vintage-inspired wedding, and a wedding planner on the hunt for aqua bottles.

the little black dog was exceptionally well behaved for his first ride in the bob trailer, which means good things for a summer of camping trips around the macedon ranges on our cyclocross bikes. i must admit that it was only about my 3rd ride on my bike in over 6 months - living out here is fantastic, but means i'm catching a crappy train to the city for work instead of riding as i used to. and i have 5 bikes.....sigh.

the blossoms are well and truly out on our pear tree - can't wait to try them in summer - what else can be made with pears?? pear jam? poached pears, pear and chocolate tarts, pear, walnut and blue cheese salad, pear and pistachio muffins....mmmm.

now it's bed time, think the little black dog has beaten me to it....
