i just came across 7 books that are part of the 'companion library' at a local op shop - i've never seen any like this - each is two books in one, with a cover on each side. they're in fabulous vintage condition also, for nearly 50 years old. they'd make a great present for a baby i reckon, they could sit in the shelves until they were old enough to read - all the classics here!
i couldn't resist another two books - one is the giant picture dictionary for boys and girls:

the illustrations in these books inspire me for future creativity - not sure what yet, but they can age a little more while i figure it out ;)
